The ring is just a promise to get married. it never mandates a date for the change....

I don't understand why everybody is talking about jewelery.
If the engine is down and compression has fallen off I'd go with new rings. Get the engine up the snuff and then worry about the boat. Don't forget to wash the block after you hone.

I love this thread. It shows how much family means to our sport. I am 3rd generation and boat racing is my second family.

It is interesting how life changes. When I started racing I pulled in the pits with the IOA trailer and people said, "Hi Brian, glad you are here." Soon after the question when I pulled into the pits was, "Is your mom here?" , "NO" "Did she send brownies?" ...now it is, "Is Katie racing?" and soon it will be, "When does Asheten start racing?" I already have had this one.


When I started racing I never though I would be this happy about people not caring about me. Family... Everyone should be lucky enough to have one as good as mine.

I am going to have to vote soon.
