2:Should it be a very distinct taste or something everyone is somewhat used too?
I have been tempted lately to get in some beans that I do not ever use. to try to come up with new blends
3: do we vote on the blends or is this something that the OWNERS of hydroracer should be able to decide on your own?

Kev, Since I have never had the privledge of your much raved about coffee..... I think it should be reasonably priced, so that every team could afford it. It should be (mike says decaf) a comfort food, so that might be something people are somewhat used to. Should probably include Chocolate (well maybe). Perhaps a little trendy. Something that with a $100 team sponsorship I could have you send a pound to the new sponsor.

You could hold a vote at a boat race if you wanted based on a taste test.

I don't know how do you select coffee to make a blend, that is way out of my area.

I've been meaning to order some for a while... I think I may have to get with the program.

Personally, I'm looking for a big, bold, rich coffee that really gets you up and moving... especially after all the after race festivities. Need to be able to motivate all those folks early on a race weekend Sunday morning!!

Mke if I shop around long enough I will be able to find whatever beans go into the blend in a swiss proccess decaf. it just might mean getting the decaf beans from three or four dif. places
Robert I think the 3 bean harmony is rich and and somewhat bold
I think the kenya AA is bold

maybe someone that had it at Grass lake will chime in and let you know what they thought of it

You know those that have heart issues can't have that bold flavored leaded coffee stuff. Kev I pollute mine with milk but I like Robert's idea. Maybe we will need a special blend for blueskyracer and then another for the rest of us. Give me an idea of cost, PM if you want.

My lovely wife Ann and I are talking about when we go to Pleasant Prairie and I mentioned your coffee. We want to buy some, like a pound. At the race we want to fire up the generator, plug in Mr. Coffee, brew it and drink it. Then take what is left home, that is, the part we didn't put into Mr Coffee. Is it ground up; ready to go? Let me know and, I'll see you in a couple of weeks.

COOL! I am glad you like the blend. I spent more time on that blend tweeking it than almost all the others combined LOL. In fact if I had spent as much time testing as roasting and tasting(tuff job I know, but someone MUST do it)I might be alot faster in ASH

lol at the risk of sounding trite. Everyones taste is different. Thats why there are so many kinds of beer. I will just plan on having a few pounds of couple choices extra.
