Gene you Can buy bottled water or any of the good restaurant supply places sell water filters to go on a coffee maker to remove the bad stuff we put in water to make it safe (aint that an oxymoron)
heck if you make Dave fresh coffee with good water and His water at the same time. Then have him try both, I bet the water for coffee situation improves quickly
Side note even that Crap you buy in a can is improved with GOOD water
and you really only have to filter the chemicals added to the water out to accomplish that. Your taste buds (and your friends too) will thank you forever.
but that is still not a substitute for freshly roasted and freshly ground high quality beans. No matter who roasts them.

MHRA has graciously given the OK for Kev's to be in the pits for Grass Lake 09.
It will be the same deal as Pineville. all race officials can get coffee at inspection and the judges stand. (yes Brian and Tracy hot chocolate too)
I will try to keep coffee available all day every day at those locations.
I will also have my stand in the pits all day. I usually start brewing by 6 am for those early birds.

I took a new blend to a family function. It received high marks. It is a Kona blend (30 percent Kona) 17.00 per pound. I prefer it at a French roast personally.

Their great sponsor has the perculator stuff in the dinning area. that is a (or was) a bottomless cup if you buy the breakfast. But I still brewed in the Pits last year and will do so this year also.
But please support the breakfast if you can. I do not remember how much it cost last year, but was a good meal for the price!
