              And cannot believe this pic was not posted before.
              Tim Butts, the builder driver of this 700 hydro, used to hang them high like this for laps at a time. Wide open, pipes up, 115+ mph coining the phrase: Butts Aerowing--The only way to fly!

                      Thats some hull, I can't see enough to tell if its a step, 3 pointer or something else.. cool tho & hope it was a good landing!

                          • 1975 Dayton out in front and clean...a little over 100mph...this is a 1964 Ron Jones cabover 145 ci hydro...a kneel down inboard...I still have this boat. restoration should be completed this summer. Credit Phil Kunz for the pic
