Now, hold on just a minute there, Coach!

Let's see....How many times this year did the Boys from Edgewood go swimming this year???

I believe it was once for Kyle....and we all know what the cir***stances were of that one!

As for the boat, just wait until it gets out of Mercguy's paint shop.....you ain't seen beautiful yet.

    • Steve - Depending on the rules, I could be in on your suggested challange.

Incorrect ... just ask him. The biggest puzzle is why 2 props that appear to be the exactly same on the blocks - work differently in the water. If Craig knew and could consistantly make duplicates with exactly the same performance, he could charge double or triple what he gets now for exact copies of the best props.

Okay, you are right on this one Pat (I thought you would respond earlier?) , as early in the season Jonathan had a little (maybe more than little) trouble getting adjusted to his new ride, but ended the season (2nd half) on a strong note. So like a number of people, we are excited about next year...thanks Bill Boyes and Joey Johnson for the (as advertized) safe and competitive boat.

And I will say, it is nice to have Mercguy up north, as he is going to do some painting for Nilsen Racing also. Boy, there are going to be a lot of pretty boats up here...better get the rub rails attached as we don't want to mess up his good work.

          Take care

Ditto. Thank you Shannon, along with Bill (the boat builder). We are excited for the 21-R (Yamato 302, CSH/OSY-400) in Region 10 next year.

Only speaking for my family, but I'm sure Pat would concur regarding his team Daren. NOT A CHANCE. By the way, how are you handling the rain and flooding up north?

well then, I am gonna have to use that EXTRA SPECIAL HEAVY SPEED ROBBING paint then!!

rain...............sheez!! I go from an area that seems to be always on fire to a place that does not stop raining for 4 days!!! Luckily I am no where near the flooding areas............ I just close the shop doors, turn up the radio (to drown out the sound of the rain) and get to fixin' race boats and motors.

                        • I wanted to re-open one can of worms. Please keep in mind, I don't have a dog in this fight.

There are 2 new guys in my area that both have bought CSH boats. They have asked me about which Yamato to buy, 102 or 302.

My response has been, on a hydro, from what I have seen, the 102 is the dominant motor. They ask me, where can I get a GOOD 102? My response is,
I don't know! Can you get all the parts for the 102? My response, most of the parts you can get but I have heard that new ignition coils are not available. Then they ask, why is it that a new motor that is available not competitive? Why would I want to buy an older motor with parts getting scarce?

Hydro people, this is something that needs to be addressed. We have got to get the playing field leveled. I know all the discussion about one guy competes well with a 302 and I never have cooked my 302 etc. There is an issue.

What would you tell these guys? We all talk about new drivers etc.

you also cannot buy oversize pistons for a 102 at the present time.....

I've only raced a year, but what I've seen here in region 10 there are some fast 302's. It won't be long before the 302's are keeping up with the 102's
