  • Trout Creek Montana June 18, 19 & 20th

Everything is a go for the first hydroplane race in 50 years on the Noxon Reservoir! Testing will be on Friday with Racing on Saturday and Sunday.

The site is about two hours east of Spokane!

The town has a great event planned with a free BBQ on Saturday evening for boat racers and their families, live music and dancing. There will be a street fair and lots of other festivities.

We want to encourage as many racers as possible from where ever you might live to come and see this great race site and experience some great Montana hospitality!

Classes planned are: For the outboards Novice, Y80, C-Stock, C-Mod, OSY 400, D Stock, E-Mod, Super E. For the inboards SK, SKI and 486.

Post here if you are coming or need more information.

          Directions -

          I-90 East into Idaho

Exit 12 toward Sandpoint/Canada (Silverwood) onto US 95

Past Silverwood (don't stop boat racing is more fun)

Travel through Sandpoint and out the other side

As you leave Sandpoint stay on Hwy 200 (do not turn left toward Schweitzer)

It will become Montana Hwy 200, continue on

Trout Creek is 29 miles into Montana right on Hwy 200

          Total Mileage is about 140.

Welcome to hydroracer, we hope you enjoy your visit.

Once you get to Trout Creek (you will pass the boat ramp as you come into town) we are staying at either the Lakeside Motel 406-827-4458 or the Trout Creek Motel and RV 406-827-3268.

Remember there is a time zone change at the Idaho/Montana border, move forward one hour

You can park and leave your boat trailers at the ramp and go check in and set up camp.

Visit the SLORA.com calendar page: SLORA Calendar Page

You can click on any of the race dates to go to their own pages such as Trout Creek, MT. From there you can find various links related to those sites, including driving directions from Spokane.

Heres a poster, one of many being posted around a 100 mile area of the race site. Come and have a lot of fun even after the days racing is over!
