Bill, you are my hero! Now, just give us decent water for finals in DSH, as usually the wind starts blowing right when the announcer says: DSH, the next sound you hear is your three minute gun! Let me know if I can help you any way during the week....I will not have a lot to do from Monday afternoon till Thursday...unless there is a bar close to the pits....

    • Thanks Dave, Yes you can help in inspection. Need someone to act as a Liz Bowman as they decided not to attend. check fuel, weigh boats etc.

I've seen Dave "cross dressing" before so that won't be a problem...Dave just needs to get some lungs to even partially fill those shoes.

While I appreciate the vote of confidence, I want to make it VERRY clear that it is not me talking trash. If I can make it, I will look forward to racing against the best from the West and seeing how I stack up.

Brent, you build a great motor, but I don't think that you are helping me make any friends here.

Bill........already exchanged info with Kay........my post was not a registration for him, just an alert up for your "head count"......

Bill: In the past, Liz has acted as a liason between the pits and the barge, letting people know when they have cleared inspection, letting the barge know when a class is ready to run etc. It is a very important job, and I asked Liz to come out for the 07 nationals at Moses Lake. She does a fantastic job...and we (or you) should check to see if she is making the trip out. If not, I feel I am capable of doing here duties for a few days. Let me know. Dave

Bill: Just read your post again, I see that the Bowmans are not making the trip. I would be happy to fill her shoes (or sandels as the case may be) for at least a few days. And no, I will not wear a dress. That infamous moment came (no booze involved) when I stated that I would wear a dress at drivers meeting at Lawrence Lake if I jumped the next heat at a race. Of course I jumped....and the rest is history. I don't have any dresses in my closet that I know of.

                  • Doug W, when are you going to get into a BSR??? Much more fun than BSH... Same question for Andrew Tate and all you other BSH drivers. I was once scared to take off the training wheels (sponsons), but now I won't go back...

                    • Richard,

I still need my training wheels at least through this season. The way Bsh is going I'll probally have to swith over next year. No one wants to come out and play in B Hydro any more.

John...I am glad you are going to make it. Looks like you have a fast rig...if you can be there at the start you are gonna be in the running for 1st place.

Thanks for the vote of confidence ! That is one area that I need to work on ! The boat really handled well and I felt comfortable going side by side with other boats, now to get the starts down ! You should do well also !

                            Go region 10 !

I am gonna bet you will do just fine,.....I was very interested in the CMH rig you bought...but you got it before i could pull the trigger. Also..tell your son to keep that arrowhead he found in the pits.....I have a feeling he found something worth some money. dave
