  • Good Idea

I will be there early Friday morning to check out the station.
I have no issue with making them the official fuel station as they are very
    convienient to the site.
When I have the fuel meter I will test thier fuel and get a reading to base
    inspections on.
    Thanks,
    Dennis

    • Gas............

      Dennis
I assume you mean today?? I think the drivers would like to know this info ASAP. You may want to check if the gas is ethanol free??

      • That would be nice to know there was a gas of the day and the specific station. If there is, I will fill up my can when I get there. I was nice to have the gas of the day next to Pineville.

        I'm pumped up about Wilson!

I am nearly 3 hours from the race site, and it is Easter Weekend and that
means my business is very busy. Impossible for me to leave, however I have
asked my local connections to go by there and check things out and get back to me asap. I will try to phone them and ask the ethanol question, but pretty sure that is not an issue yet here in NC.
I will post again when I have more info.

          • DMR and FER

Need to know if any more DMR and FER are going to be at Wilson NC next weekend, so far Steve Dunn is the only one I see. I have had a change in plans and I am planning to come if we have some boats coming. I talked to George Luce and he may come if we can get more boats. ANY More DMR and FER????

Now you see what you made me do? You just had to make me say more.

              • Sam do you have 2 motors or do you have to swap motors from the hydro to the runabout?

Can you tell if 25SSR is (1) scheduled or (2) to be represented from early registration?

                  Thanks.

                    • I was in the area today and stopped by the BP and their gas is ethanol free. The station is at the intersection of 95 and 42, not near the pit entrance. You still have to go by it to get to the race site. Race site is great. Wish you guys would run classis outboards at times.

                          • Weather forcast

The weekend forcast is a typical spring/summer forcast:
Saturday upper 70's with scattered showers, chance of precip-1 in 4.
Sunday upper 70's with clear skies, chance of precip 1 in 10.

From the Race Director: There will be a Driver's/Sponsors social Saturday evening in the pits-- food is Southern Pig Pickin' style with BBQ, BBQ Chicken,
all the fixin's, and Southern style Tea. We have negotiated the plate price down to $6.95+tax. You can't go to McDonalds for cheaper than that, and the food will be right in the pits ready at 6pm.

I also have from Coastal Beverage that is 99.9% sure they will be providing
FREE BEER for the Social Saturday night.

Food on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday will be provided by Poytress Entertainment, Hot Dogs, Hamburgers, Subs, Cotton Candy, and more.
We need to try to give them as much business as we can, cause Gloria Poytress has worked her bu** off to get us food, beverage, and sponsors.
I could not have done what she has done.
We are gonna have the mayor, and city council Saturday morning for "Opening Ceremonies, and the City paper will be covering.
Looks like from what I have learned we are going to have a huge turnout, great weather, great racing, great fellowship, and a bright future to build on.

Look forward to seening everyone this weekend!
Look for me and the Helmet cam in Cmod on Saturday, sorry there won't be any shots of any boats, but thats what you don't see out front

                              Dennis,

Thank you for editing this. It is good to see that someone respects that this is a family oriented website. I for one would have been extremely offended to see the word butt on here.
