The Holiday inn express will be the host hotel. There is a link to make a reservation. I have blocked 60 rooms. When/if it fills up I will release info on other hotels.
Yes there are 2 Indian Casino's in town. I am staying away from them as they are adult playgrounds and are not family friendly. Plus they pay no taxes in helping the local economy. Of course you are free to stay where you want. The APBA web site under news has the link to make a reservation. It is a no smoking, no pet hotel.
River Reflections is a very nice RV park on the Feather River outside of town on HWY 70. The hotel and RV park are about 2 miles from the race site.

Move in will be Sunday August 8. However, it is a public park so we really cannot keep you out. Pits spaces will be assigned by the size of your rig as Grass lake. we try to accommodate those wishing to buddy up. If you come in early and do not park where assigned you be requested to move. Nicely at first.
Vehicle parking in the pits will be by permit only and there will be only a few permits issued. Cannot plug up the pits with vehicles. There is plenty of parking for vehicles along the roadway into the pit area. A very short walk. Toy haulers will be allowed in the pits in an assigned pit spot. all other RVs and trailer boats will park by the launch ramp. The RV camping is dry, No tents will be allowed in the pit area. May tent down by the RV and launch ramp. RV's in the pits will be by permit /exception only. We are planning to run the 45ss on Saturday Aug 14. per 45 drivers request
Registration will be Sunday Aug 8 at the Host hotel. Testing Monday Aug 9 and elims will start Tues Aug 10.
Registration by ON-Line, Fax or Mail. We may have a pay by credit card up and running at the event.
More later. Note I urge all to make your hotel reservation asap.

I called the hotel, they said to go through the link at APBA-racing.com, I did that and it came back, no rooms available. Needs to be checked out.

Mike, Go to Hydromans post on this thread. click on the link and it takes you to the reservation page. They really do not want phone calls at the hotel to get the special rate. Also go to news on the APBA web site. try it again and let me know.

Thermalito South Forebay. Off Grand Ave.
Note this is the Race site. Go to Google Maps and enter Oroville ca. will give you a good overview of the Area.

The Kilo course is off hwy 162 and hwy 99 and is called the Thermalito south AFTERBAY
For those who want to know this water is from Lake Oroville and is warmed up in these lakes for farming such as Rice, Peaches, Prunes, Walnuts, etc. Also a large wildlife area.

APBA's and Hydroman's link are a little different but they both bring up availability for Stock Nationals week today and it says APBA on the page now. Odd though, it looks like the price is just a standard rate.
