I have to say that it was a lot more fun watching you learn the first time Nic! Hang in there and you'll be not only walking soon, but leading us all out on the dance floor too!

Sounds like Nic is getting better each and everyday.
Being he's walking I think I will be able to put away the little yellow wagon away that he usually gets a ride in to get back to the house after a long day of testing and racing.
Your room awaits you at Big Pal's Bed and Breakfast house, O I forgot there's no breakfast here unless you can get the Giant's Den to deliver. And you would probabaly get them to deliver.
I'll bet you a 6pack of Bud Light that while Nic was in the hospital he was trying to run the hospital or do surgrey and for sure he was telling the nurse what they were doing wrong.
Plus he also was trying to get one of the to buy some old racing equipment.
2 weeks from tonight we'll be sitting around a cooler and listening to Nic tell about his stay.
See you I about 2 weeks
Big Pal
Nic, I am sure you will be flying to Depue, but if you want to ride shotgun with me I will be going thru Orlando wednesday and could pick you up. I will pack the cooler. Big Paul, be sure to save the basement for me and tell the pizza joint to get the wagon wheels ready. See you all in 2 weeks.
I was in Tampa with Nic over the weekend, so I wanted to give you an update on his progress. He does have a ways to go before he is able to walk on his own, but he is working hard and has a great attitude.
I’m certain that he’ll be in rehab through this weekend and possibly longer, so if you’re over in the Tampa area stop by and say hello. He’s able to be wheeled around the hospital and outside to the river, so take him out for a spin!
The Rehab Center adjoins Tampa General Hospital. Take a left after the bridge and then follow the signs to Rehab. Nic is in room 301. If he’s not there, ask his roommate or the nurses if they know where he is.
Keep that wagon out Big Pal, as he's still hoping to be in DePue!
I went to visit Nic this am and was able to go to rehab with him. It was fun to see him doing exercises other than his usual "12 oz curls"!! He is in great spirits and hopes to be out of rehab on Tues. (even though he says he likes it there, there's breakfast waiting for him when he wakes up, fresh sheets everyday, someone to do his laundry and if he needs anything all he has to do is press the call button!) I swear if they served Bud light, he would never leave!! He is really looking forward to Depue, he told the physical therapist that she has to make him walk well enough to get on the plane.
Glad to hear your doing better, keep on truckin buddy! I saw a picture sometime back that just popped into my head. It was a little boy sitting on a donkey's back with a carrot dangling from a stick in front of the donkey's face. Insert Nic and Bud light accordingly! Keep up the hard work brother, see you soon. Greg
Nic just called me to ask if I could make sure he has a ride to DePue on Friday because he is getting out of the hospital tomorrow and him and his "personal nurse" Jody will be arriving in to Chicago Friday morning. He sounded very up beat and really ready to come. He is very excited but I just thought that I would tell everyone HE will be here.......
