    2014 APBA Mod Commission Minutes ;
    XI. Exhaust Kit Program Update – Cliff Johnson reported sales through 2013 were slower with west coast being more active. 80, 102, and 302 kits are all currently available through the APBA website. Most sales come through word of mouth. Cliff reported he has parts for 25 kits on the shelf. Significant was that a kit straight out of the box was 3rd at the nationals in 500ccMR and then removed the kit and ran 2nd in CSR in his elimination heat.

        Start it out of the water,

        or put a less pitch and or diameter prop on it for given hp and test it with setup height and angle, etc. More rpm will not necessarily give more speed when all other variables are considered.

        Develop more hp and match the prop to it with more pitch./ diameter combination and other things
