AHR transom heights

I am starting a new ASR for use with the OMC, but would like to design the transom to be easily modified for the new AHR A when it arrives. Assuming that the 1 3/8 rule stays, what transom height can I expect for the new engine?

What transom angle are you thinking? The Hot Rod tower/clamp is about one inch shorter than the current OMC.

Actually, the photos are of an all-new 15.cu.in. B Stock Hot Rod (although the A will probably look the same). On the Racecrafts, we drop the transom 1" to adapt for the Hot Rod. As long as you build the boat so that about an inch of the transom can be cut off, you should be okay. Ed.
