    eatonville 09

have to say cheney was hauling the mail when he blew over on the back shoot at eatonville couple years ago. heard that boat was sold to kenny to run DMOD? sure would be cool to see a few more FE rides show in region 10. can't understand as they seem to be a good bang for the money for the lay down guy who just can't afford pro. am i wrong to assume that a stock (more/less) powerhead will produce sub 90mph speeds?

      Hey Dingman-

Getting an FE into the 90's is not hard at all. Look at my avatar photo. That is over 90 and was only the 2nd time in the water. In fact Cheyney got a real good close up look at it when I passed him, after he jumped the gun and pushed me to the weeds at Moses Lake...LOL That was with his old boat, the one he blew over at Eatonville, and yes he sold that to Kenny. Cheyney's new boat is about the size of the Titanic...

mike .. you forgot to mention when ya passed me i was running a block someone had screwd the porting up way bad for me,,,, hehe.... as far as putting a stock v-rude together and seeing 90mph maybe possible or close ,,,but just some minor port raising and mill the head,,,,, and decent exhaust,,, will put you in mid 90mph,,easilly,,,think big on the prop work,,,,

            How long it takes matters

If its not a runaway from the start how long it takes to get to 90
matters, course layout matters, out of the turn acceleration on
            the race course matters.
Look at NBRA 2011 LONG COURSE.
Remember APBA NATS heat in Mi, 91mph held off two 96 mph rockets,
Couldn't negotiate / exit turns as well and 91mph racer who held the lead.

Just my observation from real events with videos.

Must have been really screwed up, because that was the same heat my kill switch came out while leading, and I finished by holding the killswitch in with one hand and drove with the other and still beat you...LOL

All in fun my friend, lets have a cold one soon!

p.s. after that race, you got that motor to work, because that thing was absolutely hauling the mail when I seen it go at Newport

But before you guys start busting each others chops, maybe you should both spell his name correctly...just saying

You guys are to much lol. We all need to pick one race on the west coast to go and play. Also the only one that was close to my brother anthony at the 2010 nat the second heat was cheney and he wasnt tofar behind and anthonys gps said 95mph when he got back in. To bad cheney did brake down the first heat or he would of been second place overall. O ya and dont get akers wound up or we will be in deep crap lol he wont say how fast his is

Hhmmm, since we are all just bench racing here and busting chops.

I'de like to belive I would have given Anthony a run for his money had I not been in ICU at the time. Garland ,If you remember, Anthony and I had a great battle at minden He definately had that rig diled in and like I said before, since I couldnt race my FE at the Nats, I'm happy Anthony won it!

Maybe this thread will stir some interest in the class and we can get back to racing in 2012...
