You need to be 16 to race 175cc; 14 years old for 125cc

Racingfan, theres plenty of racing going on in stock outboard, a great place to start working on a pro career. Its also easier & less costly to go this way. Being young still means there's more hoops to jump thru but most states allow young drivers to race. Its really worth some thought.

yea that's not a bad idea
but the rules kinda got me what could i race in stock like J class at about 50-60 mph
              pro sounds better at 60-70mph
who knows i just might get into stock then get into pro
i need more info right know before i can decide

why would you have low age restr. on pro 125cc they race at 60-70 right??? when c stock races slower but the age restriction is higher
              that stumps me oh well

You might have to start in J but thats not a bad thing, soon enough you'd be able to run A or bigger. The stocks are driver skill classes, good skill to have if you want to go pro. Dont be discouraged by the 'number' on speed, its still racing.

Hold on here everyone. Now I have a problem. Racingfan you need to immediately send me a private message with your true birthdate, age and location. There are COPPA laws that forums must abide by and I think you are perhaps breaking them. (If you don't know what they are anyone can google COPPA.) Without accurate information at this point I will have to assume COPPA laws have been broken and delete this account. Sorry, there is a correct way to do this and a wrong way, we can fix it but you are going to have to come clean. If you don't know how to private message you can email me at teresa@hydroracer.net

I know Diane's rig. If had the money and time to race it I would buy it in a heart beat. It is a fast and reliable rig. ....Bob N-96

                          Taking a little break

                          Hello All,

racingfan will be taking a little break while we work out a few details of his account. I am hopeful that he be able to return soon and that we can look forward to having a long standing relationship with him and possibly a future racer.

                          Teresa
