wow math. you can thats not me trying to figure that out. didnt make it to the hardware store in time to grab anything. but graham, was eyeballing the trap fittings with the idea but now that i know you have used it and it works i might go that route, wasnt entirely sure. if my tanks come out to be a success then ill take some pics and some measurements and if anybody wants to duplicate then theyre more than welcome to.

As a note, i had two tanks, connected with a t fitting in the bottom of the boat, the trap fitting was on the vertical tank which was in the back inside of the cockpit. the longer one was in the outside under the deck and was gravity fed from the vertical one. worked pretty good, but i needed an extra litre or two to finish the race...----

update on things... started the tank and have opted to go with 6" white pvc and two end caps and im going to fill through my breather that will be on top (obviously fuel exit on bottom lowest point). all breathers and fuel lines are going to be tapped with brass 3/8" barbed fittings. taking pics along the way if anybody decides to duplicate or something along the linesWhich way was the shiny side supposed to go? Up?
