Jim, Do you have a machinist lined up to work the Bayer style adapter plates to Mod towers for the Yamato foots?
I drilled one up myself for my early Vertical split foot 14/15 gears for my C-MOD Wizard/MERC.....But it's unique now to that foot only......(and kinda crude)

No, these castings are made by Aircraft Company. Komato casting was done by Konny.

2011 YOMATO LITE Gear Boxes

Coming in February 2011, Yomato Lite, super thin, super fast Gear Boxes.
(A) Casting are brand new technology, best in the business, from the company that does aluminum castings for AirBus (Aircraft), Boeing (Aircraft), and Bosch. Absolutely the lastest technology allows us to give a 2 year warranty against skeg breakage.
(B) Very similar to the Yamato Gear Box I designed, but better aspect ratio, and faster.
(C) Bolts up to VRP, Rossi, Yamato, Konig, Konny, w/o adapter plates.
(D) The very thin, great "aspect ratio", no gear bulge design will give 125cc, 175cc, and 250cc drivers the edge in speed and handling.
(E) Very thin 46mm "R" dimension.
(F) Ratio's 11:15, 12:15, with 11:17 and 11:17 coming in March.

(A) This gear box absolutely uses the very latest technology in metallurgy, and from the company that does aluminum parts for AirBus (Aircraft) Industries, Boeing, and Bosch. Two (2) year warranty against skeg breakage.
(B) Very similar to Yamato Hatchet, but with "Big Gears", and a better "aspect ratio" than the Yamato.
(C) Bolts directly up to VRP, Rossi, GRM, Konig, Konny, and Yamato Tower's w/o need for adapter plates.
(D) Very thin 50mm "R" dimension, with NO gear bulge.
(E) Ratio's 11:15, 12:15, 12:14, 14:15, 14:14, and 15:14 O/D.

What are you going to do about the Komato gearboxes? After seeing all the failures this past season I am afraid to let my Son drive with it on. We have not suffered a failure but our gearbox has very little time on it. And another question now that you are producing another unit. Is their still going to be parts?

Komato Cases will feature a brand new manufacturer that builds high quality aluminum parts for AirBus (Aircraft) Industries, Boeing Aircraft, etc.. We will warranty the 2011 Komato Cases against skeg breakage for 2 years unless you impact something. Faithfull customers who bought Komato's in 2010 will get deep discounts on new cases.
