    Tony,
    Thanks for your input.
I opened a new company after I met you, how's this. A-1 Strong Arm Adjustments. I do collections under 10k 50%, for anything over 10k has to be a repo. Thanks Again Tony

I talked to Lee recently and he is working on a new source for making his pipes. Hopefully he will get it sorted out. I guess the guy he use to use will not get back to him. Just kind of fell of the face of the earth. I guess I was lucky to get one this year.

Tony, Maybe Brian makes great pipes. Thats not the issue. Having 45 years experience welding I can tell you nothing was going to fall off. He didn't just work himself up. He has a serious anger management problem. He not only ripped into me verbaly he started throwing parts around on a work bench. The whole episode went on for about 5 mins. Like I said in my previous post I just delivered the parts. The pipes were not mine and I didn't do any work on them. If he had an issue he should have talked to the owner of the pipes. I will never go in his shop again. I hope your experience with him is better than mine. George

Bill, I made my statement in my first post and had no intention of making any further comment . I was just responding to Tonys response, not bad mouthing others. I have no further comments on my post.

Sorry Steve, didn't mean to jack your thread. George

                        YOU GUYS CRACK ME UP!!!

You're right George, as a team member of Team Turfrey Racing and business partner with Brian Turfrey of B.A.D. # 1 (Brian and Deano # 1 exhaust and motor modifications) I've been there done that when Brian goes ballistic but please understand he works 6 days a week for the worst clientele imaginable (All types of RACERS! Knuckle Heads and people who don't pay their bills) on Tuesdays and Thursdays he works from 8:00 a.m. through the day, night and next morning until 3:00 or 4:00 a.m. that's 18 to 19 hours if my math is correct... last week I dropped off 7 new pipe patterns that I myself had stayed up until 12:00 midnight completing so we could satisfy delivery for some East Coast Boat Racers, when I arrived at his house at 8:30 a.m. the next morning he'd just woke up from his 2 hour nap and was heading back to the shop for his usual 10-12 hour work day so as you guys can see he gets a little irritated at times due to lack of sleep, irritating wannabee racers, and bad fabrication ethics... when it comes to 2 and 4 stroke engines Brian knows what he's doing, he worked for Kenny Roberts for about 15 years under the multi million dollar sponsorship of "Team Marlboro Racing" in Europe and was largely responsible for the engine and pipe work on the motorcycles that won several World Title/Championships, Unfortunately George you were at the wrong place at the wrong time with someone else's mistake, I realize it wasn't your pipe but I guess that's what you get when you do favors for other people. So just to educate you people out there, Brian and I have done work for quite a few APBA world record holders and national champions for the past several years but due to our privacy policy we can't divulge that information... but someone was right when they wrote " if you've acquired a pipe or tricked out cylinder/head/crank from one of the many guru motor heads here in the USA it probably originated from Brian Shop to begin with". Sorry we left our BAD # 1 add run out in the propeller magazine but we're in the process of building a new shop and our time is limited in regard to new and old customers, hopefully we'll finish the C mod pipe kits we've been working on for the past 2 years and have something ready for next season.

                        P.S.
Sorry Lonnie but your comment about Brian not being able to build pipes for the MODS is incorrect, inappropriate and uncalled for, yes he's not familiar with all MOD motors but if you remember correctly the pipes we built for your 302 made 10 to 14 more horse power on YOUR dyno, I would have to say that's a major improvement since the stock motor only puts out 35 hp to begin with and oh by the way, if my 60 year old memory serves me correctly, on several occasions for the past 2 years my 302 Yamato with worn out boat, body, and knees with BAD # 1 test pipes outran your 20% more cubic inch tricked out Merc C motor you got from Rich Fuchlien or Lloyd Mise so with that said I guess I'll see you in the first turn.

Good investigating George. only problem is they say their cones are 16 to 18 ga. steel. that's way to thick. needs to be 22 ga.
