  • World Championship 0175

Get a real chance at winning in 0175 with a VRP 175 engine. These motors won Last year 2009 World championship with at least a 3 second per lap margin over competition. In stock now while Euro is lowest since 2007 at 5000 dollars for powerhead with UIM exhaust. Thanks Steve

          Gear case and tower

Does VRP make their own gear case and tower? What ratio gear case?
          Thanks Steve

Yes they make a complete motor with tower and unit. gear ratio's are for small case 12:16 11:15 11:16 and 11:17. You can get any ratio with order that you want. Motor that I have in stock is a powerhead with carbs and exhausts (UIM Type) so price will be more for unit and tower. tower also maybe purchased with the lift system for jetty start. Thanks Steve

12' Euro style would be the best option

Hi Steve, We/ The driver that uses my 175 motor, uses a boat about 11'4'' to 11'6''. I have seen some larger boats but because I'am not a hydro guy, (runabouts for me) I will have to say what my driver uses is good. Speeds are in mid to upper 80's. This combination is really a nice set up, and is fast as many races have been won in 175 with my driver. Thanks Steve

Steve - Kind of off the subject, but do the 11:17 gears fit into a Konig gearcase, Thanks, Tim Chance

It is a semi Euro type but I know he has made changes since boat was new. As far as measurements go, I know nothing of this and I won't BS you to thinking that I know. Steve

                              Thanks

                              Steve,
Thanks for information. I have a project going and that 175 is just a little too big. Sounds like that 175 would need a very light d-mod hull. Right know the stock Ds are just starting to hit 80 mph.
                              Thanks Steve 22-R
