25ss on a hydro in the 70's and the prop was 7-1/8" dia x 11.8" pitch average at the 2" radius. Revs were about 7000. Might be worth a try."Keep Move'n" life is catching up!

Prop
I will buy it if you still have it. Will it fit a Quicksilver Lower Unit(5/8" shaft)?

Measure that prop shaft again.
It should be 11/16" diameter, not 5/8", unless some one has cut it down. [not good practice]
It could have been cut down to 15mm
to suit the metric European props.Brian Hendrick, #66 F

11/16" or 5/8" dimensions not correct if you are referring to the Quicksilver gear foot used in the A, B class for the KG4, KG7, 20H and the 25ss class that used first vintage 1973 - 1982(?) Merc 25ss engines, all these came with a 9/16" prop shaft ID. Not sure what prop shaft ID is in the 25xs engine that followed the 25ss."Keep Move'n" life is catching up!
