My father still has his ra1 yamato 250. We don't race pro anymore because of the time and money it takes. We had a ball racing pro and still think it the best form of racing, I just cant afford it. My father is keeping all of his eqiupment and planing on racing again. good to hear from you again.

Hi Fran, we pulled the 250 Yamoto out from morthballs. Don is going to run it at Constintine, Mi. this year on a Krier Runabout in 250 runabout and maybe step up to run 350 with it. We have a new Luce boat we may try it on also. The Yamoto will not beat the Rossi's of VRP's but it should be a good ride. We have the 500 runabout but these things are getting scary fast. Not shure if we want to go that fast in an open boat. ....Bob N-96

I don't have any photos of mine yet that I can post. But, it had "N3" for a number, it's 13' 6" and the front cowl is behind the leading edge by about 4 inches. It had a Konig tower and foot and a big aluminum fuel tank (maybe 20 gals). The transom is 16 degrees. I've been slowly repairing the pond-racer damage and neglect. It's epoxy'ed and primered at the moment and the bottom is done. I've got a Bass-Machines Tohatsu that I could run on it. Or, a 44 (in work) which I might put on the konig. That cockpit is one tight mutha width-wise!! I'd be interested if anyone knows who might have owned it.
