  • For Sale: Gary Lewis's hydros..........

Gary has both his Dawe 20SSH and Dawe CSH boats for sale. Each package is $4500 and includes a motor. The 20SSH comes with an 80 and the CSH comes with a 102. Both motors built and blueprinted by TJ. The CSH (red boat) is only a year old and has very little time on it. The 20SSH (blue boat) has been one of the top 20's in the country for several years now. Thanks Don,

The 20ssh I just got it all re done form TJ, only has about 5 races on it and is faster than ever before.

The csh is brand new boat only 3 races on it. The motor has only 3 races on it and I bought the motor for $1800 and than had Tj do another $1300 on it. The csh is going really well.

I also have a brand new 80 motor I had tj go through everything on. Iam selling it for $2000 plus a good 102 motor for $2000. Iam making some changes thats why iam doing this.

yep, about 4hrs east of Bakersfield. But, getting the boats up to the NW is not really that big of an issue.........

buy one of these rigs and you will be running FAST!

Boy, those boats really look nice in the pictures. I have one question, is there any difference in a 20SSH (Y-80) hydro and a CSH (Y-102) hydro other than the engine size. Remember that I am new.:

I live in Montana so I guess I will keep looking for something closer. I am building my own Sorensen CSH but it will not be ready for this year.

The 20SSH can be slightly shorter, or you could use the same boat. Weight is the critical thing. A 20SSH setup has to be at least 400 lbs. The CSH setup must be 440 lbs minimum. I myself use the same boat for the 20SSH setup and the CSH setup. I just need to add a bunch of weight to run in CSH.

My problem is that I take care of a handicapped person 6 days a week so I would have to be able to pick up and return in a day. I have to save my vacation for races.

I will be racing with the SLORA club in Eastern Washington so I doubt that a California racer would be even close to this neck of the woods. Most of there races are within four hours of where I live ( Spokane area).

During the season there will some traveling that can assist you with boat transportation. Darell Sorenson (from So Cal) helped transport a boat and motor for me last year. Make a post and see who can help you out with boat transportation and I'm sure they will be able to get it close enough for you to make it a one day pick up for you
