    I am planning on racing mostly with SLORA but I would like to do Silver Lake in Everett or Moses Lake with SOA but I think I will wait till I have a little more experience.

    I just talked to Gary Lewis and now I have upgraded, if that is possible, by now buying his CSH, two motors, two props and boat cart. He has been great to deal with. Very nice guy. He does still have the blue boat and motor for sale as far as I know

          did you buy (2) 102's? If so, I bet you got my best 102 also from Gary, whom I turned it over to at the Div's in Bako..........(I am going all 302).

            Yes Daren, I now am getting two 102's. I found out that it would cost $2,900 for a new 302 after rework so these were a good deal to get started with. Both of them have been blueprinted and have 9/16 shafts.

            Are the main differences between the two engines, age, the height of the motor, and the electronic ignition?

            So one of these engines use to be yours?

              I would be willing to bet one of the (2) engines you are buying from Gary is the one I have raced for the last few years. It is a great motor and pretty darn fast. Of course both motors are blueprinted and have the 9/16 shafts.

              I gave up the 102, as I am not gonna race CSH much at all this year and focus more on CSR (302 powered) and DSH (Tohatsu powered).

              good luck and if you have any questions about the motors or the boat and setup (I usually dialed in Garys rigs (when Jimbo left), when we raced together), feel free to contact me. I still have a couple Dawecrafts (and will be racing them this year again)...... ;
