Unfortunately I won't be able to make because of the injuries I sustained in my crash at centrailia. My equipment will be there though and will be driven by Jeff Ruth. Have fun guys and gals, i sure wish I could make it.

The What's up Doc? Race Team of Braxton Miller and Layton Owen will be ready to Race. Layton finish second to Braxton at Quincy in the A hydro and is looking to continue his good starts...It was Layton's first weekend to drive A hydro and he likes the new speed of the A class. We are calling all C runabouts out of the closet. We hope to have a new to us C runabout, the former Kevin Harrol's record holding C rig. First time for Braxton, at 155 lbs to drive the boat.

          Forecasts

The weather forecast for the race weekend is Sunny Highs in the Mid 80's, and lows in the Mid 60's. Woke this morning to 64 degrees outside, and it was very nice.
We have a spectator forcast for the event too... We spoke to the Park supervisor a short time back and he expects the spectator turnout to be equal or greater than the 4th of July celebration, and the estimated turnout then was about 1500 people.

I personally am looking forward to seeing everyone before we transition into the winter bench racing season, and putting on a great show for our new friends here in Jacksboro Tx., and thanks in advance to all the race teams that have called ahead and let me know they are coming. Should be a great show.

            local motels

Please post local motels again. Jack in your last schedule the C Mod hydro was left off the schedule. We are bring two mod motors and can run back to back with the C mod. run. but Joe john just has one motor so he will run in both 25mod and Cmod hydro and the make a motor change to C mod run. We are running on Lake Jackboro?

No Leonard, CMH was not left off the schedule at the last posting. It was stated that changes were made to the first and second flights but the third flight would remain as originally posted. It is to be Novice, CMH, ER. Joe John can configure the runabout and then has time to switch the engine for 25Mod in the 2nd flight and/or CMH in the 3rd flight. Reading tends to be a challenge sometimes. Jack

                        • Well eating oatmeal for breakfast and laying off the quarter pounder with cheese for lunch this week in hopes to catch Braxton in mod 25 and Cmod next weekend. Can't test all week but waxed the bottom of the boat.

Yes, Tom Got the trailing fin for the C Runabout. Howie said he had a hard time getting it around the buoys, but this will help. I hope there is bigger turns, sure won't like to start Braxton in this runabout at Lucas Lake. Braxton had several sacks last night in his game with Jay, our rivials just fifteen miles south of Grove. He said that If they won he would cut all his hair, well they won...Now Buzzzz. Alan, with your new motor, Braxton will be looking at your exhaust pipe...Please, do not diet...Comeing home from Quincy, I had a number four at McDonalds, 750 calories, then had a hot fudge sundae just to insure I broke all the Obama's guide lines for healthy foods.
