Thanks to everyone for the positive feedback. Joe Silvestri designed this boat for me. I really owe him big time. He sent me scaled drawings and I did the full size layouts. Everything fit and Joe tells me it looks just like the drawings. I chose to run this class because of expense and our club needs more C Stock Runabouts. The 24" wide cockpit is also a plus. That's for my slim physique. LOL It could be what I need to lose a er a few pounds.
Matt: I'd like to run at the Nationals, but I'm starting local. I'm 56 years old and about 90lbs. over weight. I don't want to get in anybody's way.
Dave: Boy, you really know how to make a suggestion to get me in trouble. Mrs. Wags would definately have something additionally negative to say about a boat in the house. (bad enough its in the garage) There are only two people that I know of that ever got away with a boat in the living room. One was Frank Gienger, a CSR Marathon driver from Euclid, Ohio. And the other is Charlie Fry. I remember Charlie tellling me, "His wife was cool. She lets me keep my B hydro in the living room!" LOL I'm sure you know Charlie. Everyone knows Charlie. Gotta love him.

Awesome Csr
Having built an FER/DMR I can attest to the degree of difficulty in getting that wood to conform to the angles and curves and still have it look good. You did a fantastic job. I am with Dave Scott, frame it !
Seriously though, Joe's runabouts are the shizzle, I watched him run CSR many years, and of all the times I watched his was the only one that did not get out of control on a lumpy course in CSR. I think it gave him some reduced ET times because it went through it without a lot of backing off the gas.
Nice job, just keep away from Joe, he might scratch it on the race course..Dave Mason
