    • New 20ss/CSH Boat

It's been a long time, but you may see this new one on the water very soon.

      • Jimi,
Looks like 2008 should be fun in 20 and CSH with frequent elims ... hopefully, you can get that one on the water too !

            Daren,
            Good question!

I was happy to see that the boat was staying nice and warm and dry in the garage

I think Jimi O' treats that OLD HEAVY Pavlick ( ) like one of his children, never stays outside and is always dry!! You should see the company it shares the living space next to it!! The shop is WORTHY of a NEW Pavlick!!

I would be willing to bet there is not gonna be an "R" in the new set of numbers...........

Boat was started in '94, and I think 14 years is about right for building a new boat. Actually, the plan worked out real good: 4 frames and then glue on the sponsons and drop the cowling sides in at the end.

As for boat numbers, we have to go with 1-US for the mighty 1990 Pavlick (all warm and dry). If I get the "new boat" done, I'll paint it white, register it in Montana and go with "U-95".

                      • Scottcraft CNC cut kits almost ready

Well I picked up the first DSH kit from the CNC cutter. It was a little bit challenging for certain cuts but we got it done.

Here is a link to view a couple pics of the new DSH kit. We are behind but I was hoping to have this boat in Florida may not be a reality now.

                        • Back to forward progress with Kyle

After a death in the family and then a couple of weekend tests in the wind tunnel, we finally hit the shop again.

He has the decks on it now and has really started smiling. You can see his eyes light up when he comes into the shop with the new look being all closed in on top.

If I only had a dollar for every time that I've heard "man dad, it is really looking like a boat now"......

It's great to see the kids learning how to build boats.

We threw the boat on the scale after he got the decks on. It sits at an even 66# right now. Maybe next time he will sweep up the dust before crawling under!

No reason to sweep up the dust. You'll just be making more!!!

As I said, it's great to see the kids getting dusty and building boats.

Reminds me of the Hal Kelly days.
