A couple of questions answered
Dan,
Like any design, I guess, it is a constantly evolving one based on what you learn from yourself and others. I do draw them up myself and go on from there.
Brian,
I've been rounding now for a while. It even hurts less in the shop when you run your thigh into them!
On that note, is there now a set specification that is set in stone or is it the preferable take the appropriate steps towards safety approach?

My "understanding" is this will be discussed in Detroit this Jan. As for a universal ruling or guidelines - I have no idea.Brian 10s

I have yet to notice one on the east coast, although I can
appreciate the benefit of fitting one.Brian Hendrick, #66 F

Steve, I would check out the UIM specs for rounded pickles. I would imagine that if a rule were passed, it would be fashioned after that one.Ryan Runne

Ounjian's boat
Thanks for the compliments guys. I used to restore antique boats professionally, so the woodwork comes from that and years of practice. It is amazing what a little quick work with a low angle block plane can do. I'd recommend anyone building buy one and put it to use. They are actually pretty darn cheap on e-bay.
Let's see what others have on the jigs or getting finished up. I've got to think that there must be more than these few happening.
