One of our sponsors, EAGLE BODY inc. has agreed to sponsor the NBRA in the 08 season, the prize to win is a new 3 boat 4 motor box trailer, the rules are simple. 1st you have to be a full NBRA member, after that said you must race at least 3 NBRA sanctioned races and 1 of our nationals (either short course or long course don't matter) and then you must attend next years 08 national meeting, at this time the (trailer it will be there) the people that have filled these requirements, there names will go into a hat , and 1 name will be drawn to win this brand new custom trailer. talk about an incentive to go to a few races, WOW. this plus our new sponsors LIfeline, Revive oil, Daisy outdoor, Kicker Speakers , Bass machine works, Pinner Props, Boat City prop shop, plus a few more, can boat racing get more exciting?? and a few big names will be revealed later, but I'm keeping thiis info till later, Keep an eye on these message boards, for info. by the way just to let all know, at our national meeting last weekend, NBRA sponsors gave to winners about $8,000 in awards, for Info call me Jeff Ruth NBRA pres 479-927-2847

Jeff, clarification on the number of races required please. (You know the questions are going to to come up. May as well do it now and get it over with.)

3 races + 1 of the Nationals (4 races total)?

or

3 races including 1 of the Nationals (3 races total)?

and

What about both Nationals and 1 or 2 local races?

What if someone goes to both Nats - how many local races are required in that case (2 Nats + ? local races?). (Don't mean to be an ass Jeff. Just trying to help get any/all questions answered that are going to eventually come up.)

NBRA has class(es) for OSY-400/CSH boats/motors to race in.
Go to some NBRA races next year if you can. You won't be disappointed.

Nationals

Anyone know who got the bids for the Long Course and Short Course Nat's for 2008 ?

Sounds like NBRA is doing it instead of talking about it. Good Job guys.

Can't wait to make the plans once schedules are firmed up.

Nats

Looks like the Long course will go to Ponca City Ok. Great place too race at. Short couurse will be at Shelbyville Il. as last year it will be mid Sept. $4500.00 plus for prize and tow. Alan Owens will have a 2 day race at Centralia Il early July $4500.00 prize and tow. We will post dates as soon I am sure we have them correct.

Hey members of the Stock Outboard Promotional Committee, Maybe you guys should get in contact with the guys at NBRA. Why does APBA Stock Outboard not have this kind of sponsorship? It seems like these guys really have their sh!t together as far as promotion goes. APBA SO is the largest Outboard racing category in the nation, shouldn't we be able to find these kind of sponsors as well?

To anyone at NBRA who is involved in getting these sponsors, I would be very interested in how you attracted them to sponsor your organization and events. Any helpful information you could send me would be great. Thank you.

Nbra Sponsors

This season in NBRA I won the short and long course nats and national high point in C-Mod Runabout.

At each race I recieved a very nice plaque that was sponsored by a trophy co. At the meeting I recieved a high point champion plaque, a special engraved Daisy BB gun, a bell helmet bag, a $200 gift cert to Lifeline. And the prize money throughout the year from all the races.

Ryan, a lot of dedication goes into this, long hours on the phone, lots of promotion, and a whole lot of people to support you to be able to do it, and with some faith by the people in the NBRA, it comes together, we got it on the roll. and with the members of NBRA it will continue to grow. come race with us , only then a person can understand, we welcome you. just got off the phone with Russ Waterson of WATERSON GRAPHICS of Fl. He has agreed to letter the trailer we have sponcered, also he will letter the boat that will be carried on the trailer, Welcome aboard Russ and a HUGE Thank you Jeff Ruth
