As in any campagin to aquire funds it takes alot of dedication to the cause.
It is plane to see that NBRA has some dedicated people knocking on doors
and calling friends with connections to accomplish what they are doing.
I have never been to a NBRA race for several reasons as I only race TOP HYDRO and do enough traveling from L.I. to Title Series races but I'll bet they are selling races to the crowd not the boat racer this is how you hold on to a sponsor by pleasing the spectator.
I can only guess that some of there classes and races are very exciting and crowd pleasers. In my estimation Stock outboard in the APBA is always trying to please its drivers first (and usually the chosen few) this is fine if you use your own money but to attract sponsors you have to please the crowd..
