For a hydro, I can't wait to test one on one of my Altralite mold boats.....Archie and I were run'n tonight (Mon 10/22).......He had his 15HR that Carl Holt just went through, and I had one of my 22 OMC-A-MOD's......We had a blast in these larger-light hydros..at 61-63mph.>>(set-up very conservative cause neither of us wanted to go swim'n ).....Very cool watch'n the grin on Archie's 70+ year old face after he was able to easily "fly" the corners with his 140lb butt in the "mold" boat ...... If the Sidewinder has some low-end grunt,....the 81-85 lb Altralight should be a smoke'n fast rig with the 20............

P.S........Better git your money on Pemberton's rig ASAP!!!.....before he wakes-up and KEEPS IT......

      You guys are to much!!!

I can't beleive two people can say the same thing at almost the same time, that has been my thought for yrs. ,sure hope it works.
RichardQUOTE=Dr. Thunder;91316]Thanks Bill, that is what I was trying to say ... don't care about who designs the boat or what design is deemed best as long as the minimums/maximums are met for the class and to emphasize/encourage engine preparation and set-up, propellers, and driving skills ... suspect that eventually all of the boats would end up looking pretty much the same anyway ... something about success breeding success. I like the one hull design. Must be a roll-up (side fins killed runabout racing, LOL) with certain dimensions that must be met pertaining to the bottom, deck, sides, transom angle, combing height, etc., etc., etc. We can use this class as a template for the future of our sport. One hull and one motor would be great! LOTTA FUN!!!!!!!!!!

          Greg,
You better get going on those sons, cause as of right now me and Brian are winning!
BTW: Brian and I like to take lunch brakes------skin n bones
