DSR @ Grass Lake

Ok folks who is planning on running DSR at Grass Lake this year?

I plan to be there. Who else?

I'll be there if I can find a motor. Throwing a rod on day one and melting a piston on day two of the marathon kinda put me out of commission. I'll keep ya posted.

Also, we should call Todd Veum. I don't think he's on hydroracer. I just emailed him to find out.

I spoke with Scott Laurer at the marathon and he said he's coming to Grass Lake also.

P.S. I just remembered that Butch Ott said he's bring a D to Grass Lake too. He might be bringing two if his daughter will let his son-in-law go.

I can't say for sure yet if I can go. There's a lot of things that will have to go right first. Mostly, my work schedule. I really want to go race with you guys again. You're a great bunch, I'm sure it'd be fun. I'll have to wait 'till closer to the race date to see if I can swing it.

And now I have another motivation: Josh, you're welcome to take my Tohatsu for a test drive anytime!

Jeff: You don't want to miss the Grass Shack or the 3 Horse Club. If you've never been, it's a helovalotof fun. Also, this race will push as being one of the biggest SO races of the year. Do make sure that all the D Hydro guys will be there. Many may go to Hillsdale to run DModHydro instead. Ed.

I would be more that happy to take you up on the offer. I've been itching to try one of those new motor's out... especially since its looking like i'll be buying one sooner than planned. You should really try and make it though. Ed is right, its one of the best races to attend. However, if you can't make it... let me know how I can get a hold of your baby for a test run.

no doubt... I went to Hillsdale last year and ran with the Mod's. They are a great bunch and we had a nice field of D's. I wish those races weren't on the same weekend. Its just hard to beat Grass Lake. In my opinion, its the best race of the year (other that Top O). The course is beautiful and the water conditions are great. They run a marathon around a big portion of the lake... and Vic puts together a great party. From 'A' to 'Z' its a great time and defiantly worth coming.
