I'm not sure if the 75 Dayton was more than the 74 but is was around 900 plus. If you won your qualliflying heat you still might not make to main in A Hydo those years

      In 1976 at Hinton, W Va, there were 102 ASR's and 104 ASH's!

        To Everyone,

It was Louie Wheeler from Oregon. He was fast and a good driver. He also won the 2*US High Point. He drove a McDonald hydro... similar to a Sid Craft of that era. McDonald was a good friend of Hugh Entrop, and built the Entrop designed "Starflight" that Gerry Walin drove to break the Outboard Straightaway Record.

Brian - get well soon. I was talking to Sam today and he mentioned your last trip out to Moses Lake a couple of years ago. Hope you can make it out west again at some point in the future.

I remember the "Crazy Albianian Racing" team as Dan Schwartz, Rick "slippery" Hannon, and Don Donaldson. Who did I miss, or is this another "albanian" thing???
