With all due respect thats the answer I have heard for the last 22 years and I totaly disagree, the photos that I included in my post were taken on a quiet back woods creek in Europe with no sea wall etc. the equivalent of Whitney Point here in the US.
I find it hard to believe that a lake in Europe is any different from a lake in the US or any place else in the world. Once the water gets chopped up by 12 OSY 400 what difference does it make where you are on the globe ?
I am not suggesting that these hulls are superior or faster I just don't understand why the few US hydro builders never stray from the standard US mold. I had a chance to drive Daren's lay down 20SSH only in test sessions and thought my God! we have no idea what we are missing, it felt so right to be lying down. Correct me if I am wrong but doesn't this lower the center of gravity thus lessening the drag and producing a more streamline path for the wind to travel across the hull ?
