Hey DT - we may not even know what size course is being run on testing day. A couple years ago, we weren't allowed to test on the 3/4 course on Friday for fear a buoy would get dislodged. And sure enough, it was 3/4 both days. We went out 5 minutes before testing ended and ran a couple of laps on the short course anyway.

I'm hoping Todd will communicate what the course is in advance, and that Mr. Anderson will share it as soon as he knows.

Remember, even records races are supposed to be fun

And this year we are cooking " French Dip Sandwices" Corn & Salad " All for $5.00 that is Saturday night.
the money go to the MOD categorie in SOA.
I'am trying to get BIG AL to bring his music to the lake again this year (Friday night) so you can all sing.

How can you charge me extra if i don't pre register for a race when you guy's don't even know how big the course is? maybe someone want's to wait and see.....I don't feel like braking more 400.00 dollar prop's on that BIG course

UMMMMM we can charge it because we listed all 4 courses on the circular...as we have done every year for the past five or so years to avoid people making an issue over the size of the course. Everyone has the same disadvantage of not knowing until the surveyor makes the call.

I have not heard of any out of region racers coming yet. I would bet a few of the California racers will trek up.

Dave, just pre-register and scratch when you get there. I am not real fond of racing 1 2/3 mile either, so could scratch also. This "record course" racing thing is a pain in the ass (in my opinion). All a 1 2/3 mile course proves is who is the fastest, not necessarily the best. There are WAY TOO MANY buoys in the turns up here! Let's race 3/4 mile 2pin turns!

Come on, you can count to 9? Can't ya?!?

Daren, Lawrence IS all about top speed, and the BEST are usually the fastest.

Since I'm testing my new boat it will be a very LOOOONG 5 miles no matter what course we run I just hope I don't get lapped!

We can't control the wind, but the weather is suppose to be nice up here next weekend Richard. Get that National Champion FER and Powell's record setting DMR up here. It would be great seeing you.

So bring it on and tell Tony I will Know more this weekend about who is going to the AOF Nationals next week. Hope to see you and the HAT soon.

Joe, Do you care if they're runabouts? It's all we got out West than run the 25XS. My boat's still in pieces, and I haven't even started the motor in over a year. I will be ready for the 2007 Moses Lake Nationals in 25SSH!!!

You're probably going to have to bring the class with you, especially at this late notice.

hey Joe, what is the transom height for a 25XS? If I do not have to cut mine, I would have a boat....

                                25 hydro

Wow..I have not seen 25 hydro run aside from nationals in a long time. I have a new D boat sitting in shop, if somebody wants to drag it down there we can throw a motor on it and I can make a start for Joe. Oh yeah...the weather looks nice for this weekend. Mid 70s both days with little chance of rain. Dont forget the party that Russ and Sue Bircher are throwing sat night in the pits...Was very fun last year. See ya all there. Dave
