If you buy the engine at the 1995.00 price, it comes with the adaptor. You don't need to buy it separately. The 595.00 price is if you only want the adaptor kit and not the engine. Ed.

As Mark Wheeler stated earlier in this tread -

The new owners of Hot Rod have lower units. Check with Ed Runne. Also, I have a new lower unit that belongs to Hot Rod. You can purchase it from them.

Last winter APBA was out of lower units. They are no longer sold by APBA.
You can purchase them from "Ron Selewach" at "Racing Outboards LLC". Their toll free # is 800-749-4960 Ex.12.

Mark Wheeler also stated he has one that is available. He Should be at Wakefield and probably have it with him.
