If you raced in the worlds your APBA membership should be valid from what I was told. Zach, I think its $75 USTS plus registration for Depue. You would have to ask Sue S to make sure.

Thanks for the info. I was asking more as a jab to Bob and Pat because I didn't think the USTS had single event memberships, let alone single event memberships at there nationals. All in fun.Last edited by R13racer; 02-09-2015, 11:07 AM.

Just my opinion, but I do not want to sit through a week of patrol boat tours. If you want to be big and grow the sport, cut down the classes, not add to the event of the weekend. We all have a program we run. I used to be in favor of one huge super nationals. Not so much anymore, we are too fractured, and to different in our categories. We might have the same engines and hulls, but the program is so different between the two that I doubt it would work. Perosnally, I am all in favor of a short program, few classes, put on a quilty show for the Major Spnsor, and smaller sponors of the event, and most of all, attract the spectators. I don't see that happening in a week long program anywhere except the USTS Nat's in Depue. Depue has the history and followers for the Alky classes. They might tolerate the Mod's beign there too, but maybe not. Last time I went to Depue for a Stock/Mod event there were no spectators and very little support from the town. And that was over a decade ago before everything was fractured.
Just my opinion. I am happy doing what I do currently, as I think the direction is a good one.Dave Mason
