Applied final coat of protection for long trip to final resting spot in the midwest.. I hope it dries in at least a week.. Temps to be single digits and below zero at night for next two weeks.. This boat is slated for a full paint job once it gets home.. As they say the last one always turns out the best..

Happy New Year to one and all. The 500 capsule boat is coming along nicely, finally got the molds for the canopy and rear cowl. Should be ready to test last of this month. Enclosed pictures so you can get an idea of how it going to look.

Nice boat!!! Who is the driver?

Going to use this boat as a plug if you will, built the boat using wood, if we have to change anything it is easy to do with the wood. When we get it tweaked, then make the molds and come back with a composite boat. Anxious to get this boat on the water.

Nice to see that rig here. Keep up the prep and keep the sand paper wet. Looking forward for the paint job. Nice visiting with you all this past weekend. Hi to Marshall and Barbara.

NOBODY is more deserving than you to have a new boat. I think coming from the boat you used to run, and getting into this one will create a whole new world for you. The only problem I foresee...........is having a permanent grin on your face the first time you run it. (not so much of a problem, though). Congrats, Jon!!!

Keeping it straight and level is critical, this photo shows what I utilize to accomplish this. The 3 x 3 aluminum angle is screwed through the bottom, then held straight and true with turnbuckles. Holds everything straight and level and it will not shift at all during decking and other work to the boat.

Mike built a fine boat on this one. I appreciate his attention to detail and working with me on the design and execution throughout. Hardware is ordered, a prop is on its way, and spring's coming! Thanks again Mike! Dan
