    Yamato Rope Plates
We have a new guy interested in running CSH/OSY. We have a Y102 motor, but would like to replace the rope plate. Does anyone have a used Y102 rope plate? We are also looking for a used Y80 rope plate....

Has anyone had any luck in fixing rope plates if the center hex portion is loose inside the aluminum???

    Mike,

It seems like TJ, if anyone, would have a good answer to that problem. I'm sure he'd have a solution b/c it may be real tough to find some new plates or even old ones. He's on here every once in a while but maybe give him a call. I don't have his # w/ me.

    Good luck,
    Jer

      yamato rope plates

      I have repaired the plates
soak over nite in lacquer thinner or acetone and flush out untill clear
with air. then force loctite #620 I used a clamp/plate/ fixture, to line
up.I used a vacuum to draw the #620 through .
I also used locquic primer to insure a good bond
Long time ago, hope I covered every thing.
      Good Luck
