Teri Ziemer Reports from region 11 website:
Only major news is that Bob Wartinger took a tumble out of his new boats while testing. Bob's helmet came off when he hit the water and as a precaution he got a special tour of the emergency room at the local hospital. Bob is OK...except for feeling like he went 10 rerounds with Mohamad Ali..tweaked neck/shoulder, bitten tongue, and various bruises and abrasions. He will be parked in a lawn chair for the rest of the weekend.

Any truth to the rumor that Joel Brown won the K-Pro Nationals yesterday - his rookie year?

OSH, Stuffed it 1/2 lap out of the pits.

Dad talked to Bob last night. Apperently he got buzzed by a 350ccH and was forced to turn to the right a little. When he did this the fin caught and he corkscrewed.

Slight damage to the cowling. Bob was doing better today. Was able to eat some food as he bit off a small piece of his tongue. His neck is sore where his Helmet straps chaffed his neck as it flew off.
