          Dave update.

          Dave update,

Lyle gave a drive by update and it is a broken arm and he is having some chest pains while breathing.

I was in that race and did not see it but everyone said its was scary. Flipped just after the finish line.

I spoke to Dave last night around 10pm on the phone and he was in pretty good spirits. He was able to explain the crash to me and said it all started with a gust of wind. He said he does not have any broken bones but that his left arm is beat up real bad and his ribs are real bad. He's was already telling me that he hopes he can race at Constantine, but doubtful, and that he thinks he can fix the boat.

Get well buddy, I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

                      Get well Dave

For those that may not know, Dave has been as excited as a kid at Christmas about this FER. I haven't seen him this fired up in long time.
Shame to have a setback this early but glad he came out of it with just some bruises. And I will bet that FER will be back on the water before the summer is out.

                      Get well soon Dave

Good news for Dave. However, if his arm is anything like my leg was after the Lakeland accident, the muscle injury proved much more painful than the broken bone. Thank god for Hydrocodone!

                            David,
If you are going to tip over, do it my way....slowly. Sure, the jeers from the Michigan FEH guys are hard to take, but its actually less painful. I've tried both ways and can asure you the slow flop is preferable. Leave the highlight reel stuff to the other guys.

I'm saving you a beer... Be back soon.
