Jesel did not buy out Racing Outboards, they are a vendor to make parts.

Stock Outboard is all about a level playing field.

True parity is one motor per class.

It's RACING, not just another boat ride!

I believe the original block and case patterns, molds, or whatever, do not exist. That is the reason the original motor/ design was not just reproduced which was the intention from the beginning.
Im not trying to whine or start another negative thread.
So if the patterns were lost. How was the "updated" hot rod produced?

They had to make new patterns/molds. I recall it being a very time consuming and expensive venture.

So, the Sidewinder is "only" built for APBA? That is what you said, is that correct? I imagined with the new "Jesel partnership" they would like to sell lots of motors? And, to anyone that would be interested in buying/racing them? What am I not understanding?

Cool, no one in any other org other than APBA should purchase a sidewinder according to this, right?

Lame attempt at stirring the pot. Things must be pretty slow in OK this time of year...

I do not represent Racing Outboards. There is no exclusive organization with whom they will do business. If I have mislead anybody, I apologize.

Hydroracer is the most dynamic powerboat racing website in the world........so far almost 2500 viewers have seen this exciting post from Jesel/Racing Outboards LLC in just the past couple days.

It would be cool to see some of the leaders of these businesses get on here and address their audience. After all, don't we live in the digital cyber world nowadays.

A lot? I guessed it to be less than 10%. It seems to be 15%, that's actually very few.

                            Brian,

As you might recall, Sidewinder has been a sponsor of the NBRA for some time now. I am not 100% certain of current arrangments, but they have procured ads on the website previously. I also have seen many of their banners at the race sites. I beleive there is some sort of partnership with the NBRA that Ron has. That is about all I know. It is a great platform for the Sidewinder to be on.
