Petition
I will honestly admit I was somewhat confused about the process. I did not have the time to go thru and re read every post on this thread. I had a chat with Jeff Brewster this afternoon, and he explained the process to me. I had "assumed" that to be fair the petition had to go out to all 20ssh drivers...I was mistaken. Dave

I'm confused by what you think is "unfair". We requested the addresses of all 20ssH drivers in order to send them a petition, and we're denied that information.
We got as many addresses as we could, and many folks sent us their address and asked for a petition.
The petition is only to allow the decision to go to vote. Ballots will be sent by APBA to ALL 20ssH drivers.
We needed 30% of drivers to sign the petition in order for it to go to ballot. If we missed addresses it only hurt our cause, because less people where able to sign the petition. Even without having everyone address, we had more than enough signatures for the petition. That's a pretty good indication that we are doing the right thing for the 20ssH class.
I think it's about as fair as it can be, and in the end, the drivers get to vote. Drivers given the opportunity to vote on their class is about as fair as you can get.

Petition
I do not think the petition process is unfair. I do feel that everybody involved (the 20ssh drivers) should get the petition in question. If the stock bylaws (which I admit I am still learning about) do not say everybody that ran class needs to see petition I understand. It is sort of like a local petition to get an ordinace etc overturned....this has been a HUGE issue here in Washington state. Just mention the name Tim Eyemen around in region 10 and people will know what I am talking about. Mike/Don..while I do not agree with what you are doing or how you are doing it you seem to be doing things by the rules which answers my questions. Thanx.

Dave,
Let us know if you have any more questions.
Just to clarify, it's not a small Region trying to change the class without the support of others. We have received petitions from all over the US, and even Canada. Every Region and State that has racers was represented, so there is a good cross section of racers, Regions, and locations.
Have a great day,
Mike

The really cool part of this deal is your pushing a motor that if you needed one right now you cant buy and no firm date of when you can get one or what the new price will be then when you do get one the gear foot has to be profiled prop shaft changed and may have to have the power head gone through. Yup that will work for a new beDestiny is a matter of chance,it is a matter of choice; it is not a thing to be waited for, it is a thing to be achieved.

Good news is Side Winders are race ready for delivery in a pretty short delivery time, no import issues, no EPA concerns and Jessel alignment will help with production and distribution. Bad news is buyers are not confident that APBA (SORC) will keep their fingers out of the class long enough for them to make the investment right now.
Result is no one is buying a motor right now but many are willing.

We have a few 302's in full stock configuration less LU that we would be willing to sell.
Need to create funds for my SW20.
