Thanks for the update greg. I have a son who just turned 14 months so I know they keep you busy. I was at lock haven last year and noticed u were not racing then.

Rain has raised the lake level to the point where the pits have been evacuated early this morning, per numerous posts on Facebook. Hoping for the best at this point.Last edited by Brew56; 08-09-2013, 04:24 AM.

Just got off phone with the pits. Everyone has until 10am to leave the park. All trailers are going to the fairgrounds. Water is still coming up!
Rain began around 9 last night and was still pouring at 12:30. At 2-2:30 trailers began to be moved. Those along the shore had water half way up the trailer. Racers began wakening each other and all helped each other all morning.
The prognosis for racing to continue is poor at this point.Last edited by Brew56; 08-09-2013, 11:16 AM.

The remainder of the Nationals does not look good. Some racers are now heading home. Safe travels to everyone, especially those from the west coast.

Kudos to those staying in the pits and got up at 2:00 AM to begin waking people, making phone calls and getting the pits evacuated. Carl Holt was one of the first to do so. Great job Carl.
