  • NBRA Short Course Nationals "Thunder on Wolf Creek" Roll Call

The NBRA Short Course Nationals, "Thunder on Wolf Creek" will be June 14-16th in Grove, Oklahoma. The Venue was just used for the Bassmaster Classic in late February. The city and state put over 1 million dollars into the facility. There is parking for 800 cars, nice restroom facility, and a 6 lane boat ramp. They put a very nice dock in that 50 bass boats could tie up to. It is right in town and very convienent to everything. Let's see who is coming??? I also would like you to email me a driver/team profile so I can put it on our "Thunder on Wolf Creek" facebook page. We want spectators to begin getting to know the racers that will be competing. If you haven't LIKED the facebook page, make sure and do this so you can find out upcoming information about the race. We will also use the profiles for the announcers. We are looking for 1000-2000 spectators as we have not had a race in Grove in 30 years. Email to DRRM340@me.com.

What's Up Doc Racing Team will obviously be there to race and put the race on. Who knows what we will exactly put on the water, but the potential of:
    AH, 2AR, BR, BH, 2CSH, 2CMH, CR.

Excited for everyone to come see our area of the country and the beautiful Wolf Creek Park. My dad has been working very hard to make this a Great Race with lots of prizes for Racers and Spectators. We are awaiting to hear from a potential Major Sponsor for the race that will increase our Tow/Prize money (Not for certain yet, but very hopeful). Also there is $7000 worth of prizes and gifts to be raffled off for spectators and racers. Big Screen TV is the top prize. Will try to post pictures of the facility later.

I am bringing a new, to be donated to the champion for the Saturday's CMR.
Now that I have you attention,, I need some advice... Dr. Leonard suggested
that I build a tank that will mount inside the cockpit.. My serious question is,
does the general consensus want this tank to mount on the throttle side or the
off throttle side.. I do not know port or starboard side..
I would like only people that race this class to chime in. Thanks for the help.

Joe John Schulte's "Know Sweat" Racing team will be there with Matt Allen in CMH and CMR, Nate Fritz in CSH and Fat Boy gonna pick up the Gauntlet thrown down by Randy Mathews in CMR (provided I can get it on plane!!!). Also have great news: we have a new APBA refugee moved to the DFW metroplex from NY. Chris Mizener (prolly misspelled his name) runs CMH and CSH. He is leaving this week to go grab his equipment and is going to try and make this one!!! WELCOME CHRIS!!

we run ours on the left side (hint: port and left have the same # of letters) we also have a tank that mounts to the steering bar but we are switching to a stock gravity tank.
