Doc! How about some motel info? Time is getting short. Very few of us have motor home homes. Art K

Art--We have rooms blocked at the Stonebrook Motel in Grove. 918-868-9799 or 918-786-9799. Our hopeful sponsor has a hotel and we keep thinking we will reach an agreement with them. This is the reason we have not published the motel, but we do have a block at Stonebrook. If the sponsor comes thru, then we may choose to move everyone there and you won't have a penalty at Stonebrook. If you do want though, go ahead and get a room at the Stonebrook to make sure you have one.

Actually let me re-phrase the "we will move you to the other motel" if the sponsor comes thru... We may ask you to move to help support the sponsor who is putting up the money!!!!!!!

Joejohn:::::::: your hint was no help... When you say left... Is that left from the
back of the boat or from the front of the boat.????
My question again... Throttle side or off-throttle side.. It makes a
difference when affixing the gas outlet on the bottom of the tank...
It should always go to the back of the tank, that would make it closest to
the tramson.. Gravity will always take the gas to that lowest point.

In nautical terms port and starboard are always referenced from the stern looking to the bow. Port is left and starboard is right. That is why on EVERY boat the red light in the front is always and forever on the port or "left" side. as to your question about the fuel tank there really is no wrong or right answer. Basically mount the tank where you think it will fit. Ideally you will want it as close to the transom (back) as possible. It can be on either side just put it where you have the most room.

NBRA drivers: our loss is your gain! CSH & CMH drivers better bring your A game! Chris is a great guy and even better driver. Please take good care of him; we may want another crack at him again some time.

I am in the automotive biz and we always orient left or right as a driver. left would be throttle side. sorry for being ambiguous.

                    Just an idea

A few years back I attended an APBA race at Grass Lake, MI and watched the club run a 20 minute marathon as part of there event. With all the new runabouts coming into play it might be exciting to run them at our national events after normal class racing has completed. All classes were run at the same time and it was quite exciting for the spectators. If we had three of these events we could make it part of the nationals and then have another item we can bring folks into the NBRA events.

                      Flags

I am bringing a Michingan flag, let me re-ohrase a State of MI flag, we all know maize and gold is beneath the green & white.

And we all know the North won the war.... So we are gonna fly it loud & proud !!!!

We should all bring our flags to Lucas as well, it is billed as the North/South Championships, and I intend to make sure the North "squeezes" the south out ! LOL

Jack--I put the numbers to the hotels in the post above where Art K. asked about it. You even messaged me and had me correct the part about moving people.

Dave, I spoke with Chris quite a while the other night and liked him immediately. I told him to get ready...we run a FULL field of CMH's everywhere we go. He called me because Joe Pemberton gave him my number...I bought Joe's O'Conner CMH and brought it to Texas. Chris is building a house very close to me. We are going to have some FUN!!!
