Motor trouble

In Hawaii right now...been asking people for advice and got some great tips....some things I did not think to check..others I have checked. We have a race this weekend...1 mile record course. I have a "backup" motor coming so I am ok for now. I am going to rebuild the carbs, install a new stator and brainbox, new lower seal, disasemble motor and check crank, etc. I am hopeing that the brainbox has got weak..we will see. I wil be happy to post what I find out if anything. Dave
