Spectators moving in today !
Two RVs full of spectators moved in today ! The pits are bigger than ever as the water is down. Lots of good, hard sand beach exposed with NO depth problems out on the course. Look for A rigs of both persuasion to show up from Canada.

Thank you........
For the 16th consecutive year another great job by the Fishers Landing Racing Club. I pulled out of the pits when the last class hit the beach, 422 miles later I was in my driveway at 9:15PM, the same day!
Thanks to all, had a wonderful time.

My one regret..
My one regret? I'll get to that in a moment. I just want to recap my weekend here before I hit the Old Goat Pub. The Crystal Lake regatta was truly a good time.. I managed to fling my only working Etrex GPS into the lake while testing; none of my tachs worked; I drove my butt off on Sat in D hydro to whip Scott Clark only to get tossed for putting a pickle over on the start; then getting thoroughly drenched in 850MH; Sunday being no better. Lousy start in DH, thoroughly drenched and relegated to a distant 3rd by Noury and Clark in the first heat, only to get left on the beach with a white flag while when my motor decided to fart instead of start; and finally losing a blade off my best prop while being politely escorted around the course by Richie Palmer in 850MH. But... what the heck... I'm back at the shop now looking at my trip odometer 1376 miles; $580 diesel; $100 bucks for a room at JK's//// But, my only regret was not checking out the DILLIGA F Dance Party in Alex Bay Saturday night. Maybe next year.
