It is a camp site, ie; cottages, RVs etc
When the FLRC had it later in the fall, it would snow
Now it is earlier so no snow, so far ...

        -revelry is at 7AM
breakfast tent is usually open by 8,
and go easy on the peppers and onion with the burgs.

                B Classic Runabout

We are trying to get a count of BCR's that might
come to CL to see if there will be a race of more than
3 boats. Please post if you are coming. Thanks

                    Classic B

We will probably run bch and bcr
The last couple of years there has been
                    about 6 of each.

The FLRC racer code stipulates a first timer to donate a Molson CDN 24 for Sat night.
Stock Outboard Racing!....because other sports,....golf, football, baseball, etc....only require one Ball!

                        testing at CL

We are fortunate to have a volunteer ambulance service available for some testing on Friday . We could use everyone's help in getting set up. Due to the importance of following our regatta permit and insurance , no boats can be on there water beyond our testing time. IT WILL BE 2-6 pm. Please plan accordingly .

                              accomodations for Crystal Lake.
Anyone wanting to spend some extra time in our spectacular 1000 Islands region and do some serious testing should consider staying at Schermerhorn Harbor marina (315-324-5966 ) They have cottages on the waterfront, two paved launch ramps, and lots of outboard parts. It is about 10 minutes from Crystal Lake,as the crow flies. After Labor Day is "off-season'' so they will have cottages available for a couple days ,or whatever. I live near by and can fix you up with a towboat to use if anyone is interested.

More accomodations info for Crystal Lake

The closest motel to Crystal Lake, and the least expensive, is JK's Roadhouse....about 5 minutes from the lake. They have 9 unpretentious but very clean rooms. The bar and restaurant has real "roadhouse" feel, cute bar maids, and suprisingly good food. It is a great place to get something to eat friday nite. It is also a less expensive place to have a beer or two before those of you who live on the wild side head down to the Dancing Dog in A Bay. Call 315-482-4600 to get more information about rooms, etc.
