    Foot question

This miht be for Ric or TJ, what would it cost to get a stock Yamato foot? I could see this being a BIG impediment, I don't know of anyone that hasn't had their foot shaped.

I did ask before and got no answer but will these be kneelers or true UIM laydown boats?? I suppose after getting thrown out on the first couple single pin turns it will move to laydown anyway.
Laydown boats are not a rule for UIM, that's just what they drive in Europe. Kneeldown boats have there advantages and disadvatages for a jetty start. They don't get off the line as well as laydowns, but they race better in open water. Laydowns are also more convienent for Euro's because they use the same boat in 125 and 175. As long as the boat has the required UIM specifications then kneeldown's are game on.

Also at the start your body must stay in the boat (AKA no putting your foot on the deck like a J driver to get on plane faster).

          Make the call.....

If your in on this idea, please make the call to your Region PRO Commissioner and ask him to support this at the National Meeting. If you can make it to Chicago, even better.

          Thanks

            Phase One Passed

Just received word that OSY 400 Phase One has passed. See attachment.

            This Means:
            • Minimum Weight of 396lbs
            • Jetty starts required at Divisionals and Nationals

Change will be effective May 8, 2012.

Note: Phase One can be reversed by the commision (revert back to the current rules) if active drivers decline by 10% in 2012.

Congratulations to all who worked to make this pass.
