Vertigo, speed and adrenaline take over Ecuadorian drivers to start the season in Ecuador outboard with one of the more traditional skills of this extreme sport, the famous race Guayaquil - Vinces. Full of amazing anecdotes and experiences, competition takes place without interruption since 1957 on the fourth Sunday of March The supply area (Pits) and the starting line are in the "Guayaquil Yacht Club in the Rio Guayas, Guayaquil . Competing across the river Guayas, and Vinces Babahoyo to reach the city of Vinces.
Course:
Approximately 63.4 miles .- With an output type "LeMans" start from the pits in the Guayas River, run east approximately 2.5 miles to the mouth of the river Babahoyo at the height of the city of Duran.
The race continues along the river Babahoyo for 23.25 miles, passing through the east side of the island Mocolí, pass around Los Angeles, the Alternate-North Bridge and continue along the river Babahoyo up to the city where Samborondón 1.8 miles below the river Vinces enter the Northwest shore.
Continuing along the river walk Vinces approximately 37.75 miles. On the way pass by Urbina Jado (salitre) and 5.25 miles later taken to the north side to General Vernaza, then Antonio Sotomayor (Playas de Vinces) to reach the finish line in the city of Vinces up to the Sports Club and Social Juvenil. "
Sunday March 27, 2011 will run the 55th edition of this competition. The race takes place in two categories: Standard and Racing, and expects about 40 boats with drivers of quality: Rosita Sotomayor, César Patiño, Hodo García, Julio César Sojos, Abel Mieles, Thomas Cadena, Crisotomo Vera, Lenin Zambrano, Gabriel Liu, Stalin Tapia, Danny Veliz, Manuel Carriel, Gerardo Ching, Jose Castro and Marcelo Ching Standard category, and Jorge Tenorio, Nelson Yela, Joaquín Morán, Juan Cornejo, Bernavé (Nino) Cereso, Christian Salazar, Serafin Bajaña, Carlos Torres, Eloy Mueckay, Silvio Mosquera, Carlos Mosquera, Nelson Sotomayor,Felipe adel, Enrique Echanique, Edwin Vargas, Fabian Ching and others in the Racing category and the presence arrival of two American driver Jeff Yungen and Josh Pearson

Thank you Nelson for your invitation to 2011 Guayaquil-Vinces race. This will be an event to remember! I am prepared to do my best.
