Tim, this is a C Stock Runabout for a 102 Yamato engine. I am building it from my own design so I can return to the Top 'O Michigan marathon this summer in Indian River. I haven't raced there since 1992 and miss it greatly. I am building it for comfort not speed.

        • Thanks everyone for clearing up my confusion.

Guedo; that build looks...different. Are you chronicling the build of the boat you show in the post directly above? I am interested to see how the sponsons will be…attached. Did I miss some earlyer pics?

            • Very detail oriented

I love the way you photoshopped in the reflections from the overhead lighting, very realistic touch.

                  Nice looking and great woodwork.
Why the black transom board? Is that a special laminate?

                  • Sobol bringing sexy back! That's a man-model if I've ever seen one!

This boat will be a CMH for right now, but we'll seen how it performs!

Kilo boat has been commissioned and possibly ready for the D-Lake record run....Bob can't have all the fun!

                    • This is an interesting concept. Make a mold and lay up a set of sponson canoes and then change up the center section depending on the class. HUMMMMMMMMMMM

You could get by with a small set of canoes and a large set and cover most of the classes.

Don't let Mike fool you, Sobol is the brains behind that operation.

He makes it happen too. Crack that whip Jimmy!!!!!
